Entry-Level Rebar Fabrication Labourer

We are currently hiring Entry-Level Rebar Fabrication Labourers to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in steel fabrication and industrial manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications & Education

• Basic math skills required (ability to calculate bar measurements).
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

This is an entry-level position. Successful candidates may be trained to operate the following equipment:

• Operate a bender to fabricate reinforcing steel to required dimensions.
• Operate a shearing machine to cut reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths.
• Operate an overhead crane to move, assemble, and select materials for fabrication or shipping.
• Unload trailers and store materials in designated storage bins.
• Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment within the shop or designated area.
• Assist other team members with various production tasks as needed.
• Demonstrate conduct consistent with company vision and values.

Physical Requirements

• Some heavy lifting may be required.
• Work environment may be noisy, dusty, and subject to hot or cold temperatures.
• Indoor/outdoor shop environment with exposure to elements.

Special Requirements

• Overtime may be required to meet operational needs.
• Must be able to work any shift as required.
• Must follow all shop safety policies and procedures.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Schedule

• Standard shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (including 30-minute lunch)
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime as needed

Compensation

• Starting wage: $22.00 per hour
