We are hiring, on behalf of our clients, 2 experienced Mechanics to join their assembly/disassembly production line.
Position Summary:
This position disassembles and assembles parts for finished products to ensure proper fit. Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Works under the direction of the Assembly Supervisors
- Disassemble and reassemble parts for finished products
- Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
- Inspect finished products for proper functioning. Check mechanical assemblies and subassemblies for alignment and proper functioning
- Diagnose problems. Perform adjustments and repairs
- Operate or tend automated assembling equipment. Operate small cranes to transport or position larger parts
- Work with line assemblers to communicate issues found in run-off
Qualifications:
- Mechanical education and/or work experience
- 2 years practical experience with tractor/trailer maintenance/repair required
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical problems
- Good understanding of mechanical, hydraulics and electrical systems
- Must be a reliable and dependable worker
- Possess good manual dexterity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work well as a team member
- Capable of sustained physical effort
Working Conditions:
- 40 hour work week (Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day)

Salary/Benefits:
