Our downtown Winnipeg client is seeking a Financial Advisor Administrative Assistant for a partner with the firm.

Our client is seeking someone looking to thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment while helping clients achieve their financial goals. The role is client-facing, requiring a proactive approach to client service, and administrative responsibilities.

Pay and Benefits:
  • Depending on experience minimum wage is $50k, higher pay if you have a mutual fund certificate and have experience. If you come with a book of business and are a CFP pay is higher

Key Responsibilities:
  • Within 6 months obtain your Mutual Funds license to better assist the partner.
  • Professionally handle inquiries from clients via phone and email
  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports while ensuring the CRM and client files are up-to-date and in compliance
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of client meetings, including agenda setting, document preparation, and meeting follow-ups.
  • Handle investment transactions, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain office efficiency through various administrative tasks, including electronic scanning, filing, and managing client marketing lists.

Required Experience and Education:
  • Experience in the insurance/financial services industry preferred.
  • Customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and a sound understanding of insurance and investment products.
  • A college diploma, university degree, or equivalent experience. CFP or Mutual Fund certifications are a plus.
