Financial Controller

Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is currently hiring two Financial Controllers for our clients, a Winnipeg leading and continuously growing consumer health services organization.

This position will report to the CFO, and will have 2 direct reports.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Development of month end financial reporting package
• Cash Management
• Managing controls
• Managing the outsourced BDO and automated functions
• Supervising direct reports
• Compiling analytical data related to daily and annual operations
• Developing and implementing appropriate KPI reporting

Qualifications:

• Accounting CPA, CA designation, bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience in the pharmacy or healthcare sector
• Strong IT/Accounting systems experience
• Hands-on, multi-tasker, detail-oriented, analytical, problem solver and creative thinker
• Strong inter-personal and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Start Date:

• Immediate

Base Salary:

• $70,000-$80,000 per year (depending on qualifications and experience)
