Financial Services Coordinator -Life Insurance

Our downtown Winnipeg client is seeking a Financial Services Coordinator for a partner within the firm.

Pay and Benefits:
  • Depending on experience minimum wage is $45-50k, higher pay if you have a mutual fund certificate and have experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Within 6 months obtain your Mutual Funds license to better assist the partner.
  • Professionally handle inquiries from clients via phone and email
  • Prepare and analyze weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports while ensuring the CRM and client files are up-to-date and in compliance
  • A first point of contact for our team, welcoming clients that phone or attend meetings.
  • Scheduling of appointments for clients
  • Meeting preparation, including statements, summaries and presentations.
  • Maintenance and updates of CRM information.
  • Prompt and efficient reporting and support for our valued clients.
  • Processing client trades, address and beneficiary updates.
  • Management of mail and courier services.
  • Collaboration in the financial planning process.

Required Experience and Education:
  • Experience in the insurance/financial services industry preferred.
  • LLQP an asset
  • Mutual Fund license an asset but will be obtaining shortly after starting
  • Customer service experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and a sound understanding of insurance and investment products.
  • A college diploma, university degree, or equivalent experience
