Are you an experienced Flagger? Staffmax is hiring for our client in Langley! You will be joining a large organization with ample room from growth.
Duties:
- Direct traffic to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists
- Set up and maintain work zones, including cones, signs, and barricades
- Communicate with coworkers and drivers using hand signals or two-way radios
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust traffic control devices as needed
- Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a flagger or in a related role is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
- Basic understanding of traffic laws and regulations
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required
