We are seeking for Food and Beverage Server for one of our client in Toronto. Full time position.
Location: Toronto, ON
Shift : Wednesday to Sunday
Timing: 5 pm to 12:30 am
Pay rate: $18 to $19/hr

Job description:
- Be familiar with the Club’s Service Standards.
- Set up and organize the dining and banquet rooms as required.
- Deliver food for members to their tables.
- Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the items on the menu so you can describe them, present them correctly, and if there is a shortage of any item you can suggest comparable alternatives. For example, memorize specials prior to lunch/dinner service.
- Be familiar with available wines.
- If assigned to the Bar, act as bartender and make sure it is properly prepared (turn on the dishwasher etc. – see Opening & Closing Procedures). Close bar at the end of your shift.
- Report any equipment failures to the F&B Manager. Report needed supplies to supervisor, before they run out
- Do side work during nonbusy hours. Work in different areas of the Food and Beverage Department as assigned.
- Be always proactive especially if business is slow and forecasted sales are not being met.
- Maintain professional relationships with all coworkers.
- Constantly increase knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services.
- Attend ongoing trainings, courses, workshops, and seminars as required. Assist in training new waiters.
- Clear soiled glasses, dishes, and utensils on a regular basis.
- Always keep work area and service area neat and tidy.
- Replenish stock as required (sugar, salt, pepper, cutlery etc.).

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Smart Serve Certificate
- One (1) year experience in the field
- Knowledgeable in the food services industry
- Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment
Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment
