Forklift Operator / Shipper/Receiver
Location : Fermor Ave. and Lagimodiere Blvd.
Monday to Friday
Start 8:00am - 12:00pm
Wage: 19:00/hour
Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation:
- Safely operate forklifts with 8 foot probe attachment
- Transport, stack, and store products or materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Ensure proper stacking and storage of materials to optimize space and prevent damage.

Shipping & Receiving:
- Receive incoming shipments, inspect, and verify items against purchase orders or packing lists.
- Prepare and pack outgoing shipments according to customer specifications.
- Process and document returns, damages, and discrepancies.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks.

Inventory Control:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems.
- Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Track product movement and adjust inventory levels as needed.
- Identify inventory discrepancies and report issues to management.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely restocking of materials.

Safety & Compliance:
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with the warehouse team, shipping department, and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
- Communicate effectively regarding inventory levels, shipments, and deadlines.

Additional Duties:
- Perform general warehouse maintenance tasks as needed.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Forklift certification (required).
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving and inventory control preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
