Forklift Operator

Staffmax is assisting our central Winnipeg client with the hiring of an Order Picker who has experience driving a forklift. This temporary position carries the possibility to become a permanent job for the right fit, and we are looking for someone to start right away.

Location: Hervo st and Chevrier Blvd

Hours: 7am - 3:30pm Monday to Friday

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Accurately picking orders manually and with forklift in an industrial supply setting
• Accurately entering and processing orders using a computer
• Assisting with tasks that require the use of the forklift
• Cleaning and maintenance of your work area
• Adherence to all safety policy and regulations

Job Requirements:

• Experience with the use of an electric reach and counterbalance forklift, as well as an outdoor diesel forklift, is required.
• A valid, current forklift certificate is required. We will assist with getting recertified if you have an expired forklift certificate.
• Experience in a warehouse or safety-intensive environments is required.
