Job Title: Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate
Job Summary:
Staffmax is working with our client and are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating counterbalance and side loader forklifts, along with strong attention to detail in order picking and inventory control. This role requires a physically fit individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate counterbalance and side loader forklifts
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately for shipment
- Perform inventory control using scanners and warehouse management systems
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and product movements
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety policies and procedures
- Must have all PPE (Steel toed Boots High Vis vest and Hard Hat
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience operating counterbalance and side loader forklifts
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred
- Experience using RF scanners and basic computer systems for inventory tracking
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Working Conditions:
- Physically demanding role requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must be able to work inside and outside
