Foundry Sand Molder

Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is currently assisting our newest client seeking a Foundry Sand Molder with 5 plus years experience in designing and assembling molds

This is a full time permanent role.

Duties:

- Reporting to the Foundry Supervisor
- Following strict Health and Safety guidelines you will be make cores for use in molds in a no bake area
- Make cores for use in molds 
- Make sand molds using patterns, moulding boxes, sand and hand tools 
- Coat cores with protective materials and bake 
- 1-2 stage pump cases, impellers  
- Product drawings and sand mold assembly drawings   
- Proper drying process
- High energy, with a passion to ensure accurate, detailed and correct product is produced

Must Haves:

- Min. 10 years experience as no bake sand molding process - binder, catalyst, sand, sand mixer, etc 

Hours and Compensation:

- 7-3:30 pm daily
- $20-25 hour DOQ
