Frame Assembler- Frame shop

Seeking a self-motivated and self-disciplined person to fill our permanent full time frame assembler position . The primary responsibility of a furniture assembler is using both hand and power tools to join wood components of a furniture piece together. The candidate will work with custom built pieces and will be responsible for the entire assembly process of the frame.

Pay Rate -CA$16.00 – CA$25.00 per hour

The candidate must have:

• Follow direction given by Department Supervisor
• Work in a fast-paced environment understanding the need for urgency to assist in meeting production schedules.
• Ensure proper use of hand and power tools in accordance with health and safety standards and functionality
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Self – inspect material, parts and final product to ensure compliance with our companies quality standards.
• Move material and finished product within the factory as required.
• Communicate with team members and Supervisors any improvements, ideas, and suggestions.
• Work in accordance to Health and Safety policies
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to use tools such as table saw, band saw, mitre saw, power sander, staple guns and drills
• Demonstrate ability to assemble parts effectively and efficiently meeting production deadlines
• Ability to follow instructions
