We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Fundraising Professional. This role offers a unique opportunity to start your career with a supportive team and a chance to work from home after an initial period in our downtown office.
Position Details:
- Location: Initially in-office (downtown) for 3 months, then remote.
- Hours: Flexible schedules to accommodate students and various personal commitments.
- Standard: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM
- Saturdays are makeup days.
- Closed on Sundays.
- Wage: $16.00 per hour, with potential bonuses leading to an average of $18.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reach out to potential donors via phone.
- Communicate the mission and goals of the organization effectively.
- Encourage donations and support for fundraising campaigns.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- Strong English communication skills.
- Comfortable taking calls and speaking with people all day.
- Basic tech skills: typing, sending documents, and emails.
- Customer service or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
- The ability to sit at a desk and make calls for extended periods.
- A friendly and engaging personality.
