Staffmax is currently hiring 5 General Event Staff to support a one-day event in Calgary.
Event Date: Saturday, August 15, 2026
Pay Rate: $17.00–$18.00 per hour
Positions Available: 5
Schedule - 11:00 am - 8:30 pm
Location: 4929 Avenue, Calgary
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and preparation
- Support event planning and general administrative tasks
- Welcome and greet attendees professionally
- Guide guests throughout the event venue
- Assist with event organization and coordination
- Set up event perimeters, signage, and designated event areas
- Provide general support to ensure the event runs smoothly
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Previous event or customer service experience is an asset but not required
