General Labour

Staffmax is currently collaborating with our client in Winnipeg, MB, to secure three openings for General Labourers. The client's operations take place within a safe and hygienic setting characterized by excellent air quality. They foster a collaborative team-oriented ambiance and provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), with the exception of Steel Toe Boots.

**This is a 3 month contract, with the goal of permanent hire

In the role of a General Labourer, your principal duty will revolve around aiding in the construction, and molding of fiberglass tiles of varying dimensions. Collaborating closely with a fellow team member, your focus will be on maintaining operational safety and optimizing efficiency. This position presents an exceptional prospect for individuals aspiring to contribute hands-on skills within a secure working milieu.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the assembly, cutting, and molding of fiberglass tiles.
• Uphold a work environment that prioritizes safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Engage in cooperative efforts with a team member to ensure both safety and operational efficiency.
• Utilize basic tools such as measuring tape and pallet jacks as needed.
• Wear designated personal protective equipment (PPE), including a mask and white suit.
• Adhere to the prescribed work schedule (Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm).

Requirements:

• While prior experience in a general labour capacity is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
• Demonstrate a penchant for teamwork and an aptitude for following directives.
• Possess robust physical endurance, including the ability to lift heavy objects when required.
• Display meticulous attention to detail and a capacity for precise work execution.
• Exhibit a willingness to comply with PPE requirements, encompassing mask and white suit usage.
• Provision of Steel Toe Boots is incumbent upon the candidate.
