General Labour- Sanding Dept

Staffmax is assisting one of our clients with hiring general labour for their furniture store. Our client requires a general laborer for their staining department. This position is part-time at the moment, but more hours may be required in the near future and ultimately becomes a permanent full-time position.

Location: North York, Toronto
Pay: $15/- per hour
Time:8am to 12pm
Days: Monday to Friday
Term: Temporary to Permanent position

Details for a job in the staining department

•Sanding furniture legs
•Applying stain to furniture legs – wipe on stain done by hand
•Use of palm sander – a tool
•Lifting of sofa frames at times required, approximately 50lbs per frame – assistance with lifting is available
•Masks and protective glasses will be provided
•Steel toed shoes required – not provided
•Capable of working on their own
•Communicates well and asks for help/direction when needed
•Self-motivated, self-disciplined
