General Labourer – Racking and Unracking
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to assist with the racking and unracking of metal products throughout our galvanizing process. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing materials for processing, handling products safely, and assisting with shipping preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Rack metal parts onto hooks prior to processing.
- Thread and secure 9-gauge and 12-gauge wire through product openings as required.
- Prepare materials for pickling and galvanizing operations.
- Remove processed products from racks after galvanizing.
- Stack and organize finished products on pallets.
- Weigh, label, and prepare materials for shipment.
- Perform material handling tasks safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, or galvanizing operations is considered an asset but is not required.
