We are seeking for general Labour person who can drive forklift also for full time temporary to permanent position in Etobicoke.

Location- Etobicoke
Pay rate- $20-21/hr
Shift- Monday to Friday -7am to 3pm

Job Duties:

Drive forklift (Counterbalance) or pump truck.
• Assist and help the Pilot Plant Technician (Lead) in all activities.
• Prepare and set systems and resources for Test runs on time.
• Assist test leaders before, during or after runs.
• Perform machinery assembly and disassembly.
• Perform deep or light cleaning of machinery, parts and resources if required.
• Load or unload food products into the machinery and storage systems.
• Food packing and unpacking.
• Move drums and totes of chemicals around.
• Help with food sorting if required.
• Perform product or part inventory.
• Garbage management. Garbage discarding and cardboard folding.
• Help to maintain the Warehouse cleaned and organized.
• Complete required activities by the end of the day

* All other duties as assigned*

Work Environment

• Fast-paced, warehouse environment
• Varied volume of work
• A moderate amount of physical effort is required, standing, walking, and carrying for
part of the day, moving product throughout the warehouse
• Working in safe, secured, and tidy environment
• Receive clear work instructions from Supervisor
• Loud environments

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma required
• 1 years’ experience in a warehouse environment (Recommended)
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions
• Working in a safe manner
• Ability to operate warehouse machinery and equipment
• Problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Fast learner
• Able to work on different environments (Wet or dry)
• Time flexible and reliable person. 8:30 to 6:30pm
• Respectful and well-mannered person
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• No food allergies
• Able to tolerate strong smells (For example, Food Spices)
