General Manager - Spanish

Staffmax is for a Spanish-Speaking GM in Mississauga. Our client is an international employment network whose mission is to help international workers find meaningful employment opportunities in Canada.

This means you will leverage government agencies and local talent pools across North America to place qualified workers in agricultural jobs, primarily within Ontario.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the organization, including strategic planning, payroll, financial management, marketing, and team management. The General Manager will work closely with senior leadership to ensure the organization’s goals and objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

• Meet with Government branches and agencies, such as the Mexican Secretariat of labor and social welfare
• Develop and implement company-wide strategies to achieve business goals and objectives
• Oversee all functional areas of the company, including finance, payroll, and operations
• Manage and motivate a team of employees, ensuring a positive and productive work environment
• Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure alignment on key priorities and decision-making
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and partners
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities for the company
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards

Qualifications:

• Must be fully fluent in Spanish
• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of success in managing a business unit or organization
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
• Strong financial acumen
• Demonstrated strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive results

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $75,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
