HR Recruiter (Contract/Remote)

A Canadian private lending and mortgage investment organization specializing in alternative real estate financing solutions for borrowers and investors is seeking an experienced HR Recruiter for a short-term remote contract (60–90 days). The successful candidate will support high-volume recruitment across various roles within the organization, playing a key role in sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates to meet urgent hiring needs.

Contract Details:

• Duration: 60–90 days
• Work Location: Remote
• Pay Rate: $20-24/hr
• Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Start: Immediate / As soon as possible
• Type: Contract position

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for multiple roles across different departments
• Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, and internal databases
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate interviews
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS/CRM system
• Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements
• Ensure a positive and efficient candidate experience
• Assist with offer preparation and onboarding coordination

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
• Strong ability to manage multiple requisitions under tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience using ATS/CRM systems (e.g., Bullhorn, Workday, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
