Description:

Staffmax is currently supporting our client in Toronto, ON, in the recruitment of a skilled individual for the position of HR/Admin Support Worker on a contractual basis.

Role Title: HR/Admin Support Worker
Location: Toronto, ON
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm
Wage: $24 per hour

Reason for Need: This position is newly created, initially temporary, with the potential to evolve into a defined timeframe or even a permanent role based on the client's assessment of ongoing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of Human Resource (HR) procedures.
  • Review and update HR policies and files.
  • Provide support in developing, updating, and maintaining operational policies.
  • Assist with event and meeting planning.
  • Basic IT support and troubleshooting.
  • Organize and maintain administrative supplies and general organization.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Administration, or Human Resources.
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant Ontario legislation and regulations.

  • Criminal check, child, and adult abuse check.
