Description:
Staffmax is currently partnering with a valued client in Downtown Winnipeg to fill a crucial Health Coverage Coordinator role. If you are detail-oriented, possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, and have experience with general office procedures, data entry, and databases, we encourage you to apply.

Start date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Location: Carlton St, Winnipeg
Wage: $16.00 per hour


Duties:
Gather personal information and provide explanation on a specific topic (plastic health cards)
Administer, coordinate and adjudicate health care coverage applications
Electronic and paper filing, scanning, copying and scanning
Provide archiving support

Skills:
Effective verbal communication with the ability to provide front-line service to members of the public
Ability to provide professional customer service on the phone and in-person
Ability to work with confidential information
Working experience with MS Office suite (particularly Outlook, Word, and Teams) with ability to use internal software/programs
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently under general supervisory direction
 
Conditions of employment:
Physically able to perform normal office duties:
Lifting up to 25lbs (infrequent), walking, siting, standing.
Prolonged periods of sitting up to 2 hours
