Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Licensed

Staffmax is assisting our client seeking an immediate hire of a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. 

Location: 20 minutes from Airdrie and Northwest Calgary

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) to join our team. Reporting to our experienced Mechanic Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our equipment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and service maintenance, construction, seasonal equipment both in the shop and in the field.
• Utilize manuals and diagnostic equipment to perform duties.
• Maintain accurate work orders.
• Use company apps/software to track and monitor service tickets and maintenance intervals.
• Request parts/consumables and assist with inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician Red Seal.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License.
• Own tools.
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently.
• Experience with commercial mowing equipment 
• Hydraulic and diesel engine diagnostic experience.
