Heavy Truck Transport Technician – Red Seal
We are currently hiring a Heavy Equipment Technician at our client's renovated, well-equipped location Near Archibald and Mission Street/ Transcona, Winnipeg. This position is open to Red Seal-certified technicians sorry no apprentices at this time
Pay and Benefits:

Competitive pay: $40-43/hr, depending on experience and qualifications

Full-time, permanent Monday to Friday day shift 7-3:30 pm, then if desired, move to 8-4:30 pm

Facility Highlights:
- Modern, upgraded 4-bay shop including:
- Full-length oil change bay with pit
- Enclosed truck wash bay
- Fabrication workspace for welding (welding skills an asset)
- newly renovated washrooms, modernized all inside the 10,000 square foot building
Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain:
-
Diesel engines (Paccar/MX experience an asset)
-
Transmissions, rear ends, differentials
-
Electrical/electronic systems, power systems
-
Hydraulic systems and related components
-
Perform service work safely and efficiently
-
Maintain a clean, organized work area according to company standards
Qualifications:
-
Red Seal Truck Transport Technician (sorry, no apprentices)
-
Knowledge of engine, gear, and hydraulic repair
-
Skilled in computer diagnostics and troubleshooting
-
Welding certification an asset
-
MOPIA (air conditioning) certification an asset
-
Class 1 or 3 driver’s license an asset
-
Must provide your own basic tools - secured area on site
