The Kirkfield Motor Hotel is hiring an experienced Operations Manager in St. James!
The Manager's duties include the management of inventory, cash, customer service escalations, billing, invoicing, and reconciliations. The Manager works closely with the General Manager, the Bookkeeper, and the various facility staff to ensure timely delivery of their responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including managing staff, resources, and budgets
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and optimize productivity
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement
- Provide leadership and guidance to the operations team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and customers
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of operational best practices and industry trends
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
