Time:8 AM – 4:30 PM
Term: Fulltime, temp to permanent
Duties:
- Responsible for the direct supervision and training of all Room Attendants, House Person’s, and Laundry Attendants.
- Assist and perform daily administrative duties, including but not limited to payroll, lost and found, and monitor daily work schedules and attendance.
- Assist in cleaning as per company needs
- Work in a safe manner and abide by Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and hotel policies and follow accident and incident reporting procedures.
- Monitor and assist with Training of all new Associates. Provide coaching and regular feedback in relation to job performance.
- Assist and perform weekly supply inventory in order to assess and maintain stock levels. Reinforce all received items are recorded as received.
- Inspect VIP rooms prior to guest arrival.
- Ensure Out of Order rooms are rectified and checked daily.
- Assist and provide support to other departments as required.
- Ensure that the correct handling of chemicals is adhered to.
- Perform other duties identified or as assigned
- Ensure staffing is adequate by calculating and preparing all assignment and worksheet of all Housekeeping staff daily. Look ahead at staffing requirements.
- Be available after hours, if required
