About the company:
A global leader in animal genetics and breeding

Located in Regina Sk and requires a Human Resources Professional for its North American animal operations. In this generalist role, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting a wide range of human resources services and programs. Your main objective will be to implement and administer Human Resources policies and procedures and to liaise with employees, their managers, and senior management in all matters relating, but not limited to, employee compensation, recruitment, performance management, OH&S, and labour legislation.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• HR guidance for regional management
• Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and hiring process
• Oversee foreign recruitment initiatives
• Participate in the onboarding process of new employees and exit interviews
• Coordinate the annual compensation review process
• Oversee the annual appraisal process
• Manage all STD, LTD and WCB claims
• Prepare written monthly HR updates regarding turnover, illness, injury, FTE’s, employee transfers/changes and other pertinent items

Qualification and Experience:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or a strong combination of relevant training and experience
• Minimum five years of experience working in human resources
• CPHR designation would be considered an asset
• Foreign hiring experience LIMA a strong asset
• Farming experience an asset but not a requirement please add to resume or note on cover-letter
