Job Responsibilities:

- Utilize Jira to create and validate epics and user stories as well as other activities such as user experience testing
- Actively collaborate and engage with the agile team
- Responsible for defining a product release and iteration backlog based on product overall vision and input from business SMEs, customer experience and the agile team.
- Understand and articulate the product vision, including its objectives, value proposition, and key risks associated with opportunities/ideas
- Collaborate with SMEs to assess how features will impact the end-user and how to effectively manage them
- Develop product roadmap and high-level backlog, further decomposed into releases which deliver significant value to the end user.
- Regularly attend planning sessions, stand-ups, retrospectives, iteration reviews and other team meetings in order to verify that the output of the team is consistently delivering business value and aligned with the agreed upon commitments
- Establish and communicate product vision with key stakeholders and business owners, using customer research and available reporting and analysis to provide an economic justification for key decisions
- Communicate effectively across diverse audiences within and outside of the development team (Stakeholders, Executives), acting as a champion of the agile methodology

Qualifications / Must Have Skills:
1)Bilingual in Spanish and English
2) 10+ years of progressive work experience in new product development (preferably in banking)
3)Ability to work within an Agile environment
4)Experience using Jira and Confluence to manage user stories
5) Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
Nice to Have:
-knowledge of commercial banking
- Familiar with Change Management practices

Soft Skills:
Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish
Proven track record in building relationships with stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills

Degrees or certifications:
• Minimal educational requirements are a bachelor’s degree in related field

Best vs. Avg. Candidate
-the best candidate would be fluent in Spanish and English with strong experience as a product owner, specifically in banking (managing backlogs, writing user stories, following Agile ceremonies).
