Exciting Career Opportunity: Inside Customer Service/Order Desk Administrator

Location: Mississauga, ON
Hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Friday
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $45,000 - $47,000 per year
Responsibilities:
- Execute various clerical and administrative tasks, including reception duties, couriers, and mail management.
- Oversee day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain and update inventory lists and cost sheets.
- Collaborate with vendors for effective stock inventory management.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to enhance warehouse efficiency.
- Process and invoice orders using QuickBooks, ensuring financial precision.
- Update internal database management software with order information.
- Ensure accurate shipping of orders via various carriers, adhering to appropriate shipping methods.
- Prepare shipping packages, including necessary documentation.
- Document all inventory transactions with efficiency.
- Responsively handle inquiries and emergency orders with courtesy and promptness.
- Prepare and issue various reports to management.
- Conduct quarterly and year-end inventory counts, diligently investigating discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end procedures and reports.
- Prepare documentation for purchases, returns, and warranty coverage.
- Ensure error-free inbound and outbound shipments.
- Provide internal customer service support, fostering collaborative relationships within the team.
- Contribute to special projects and tasks as required.
- Perform additional administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in order desk, data entry, inventory management systems, shipping, and accounting.
- Preferably possess post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
- Enthusiastic, positive, and detail-oriented.
- Result-focused and efficient.
