Job Summary
Staffmax is hiring- The Inside Sales and Service Rep who will be responsible for generating qualified leads, securing high-value accounts, and driving repeatable, sustainable growth across Canada. This role focuses on developing and executing a systematic process to generate qualified leads and secure new accounts to achieve business goals.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, results driven sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities. This position requires a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Client Relationship Management:
- Develop and implement a systematic process to identify and pursue qualified leads in the roofing material
- Generate high-value qualified leads with a high level of conversion achieving sales growth targets.
- Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking events to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Follow up with leads promptly and schedule discovery calls or meetings to understand their needs and present solutions.
Customer Service:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
- Provide detailed product information and personalized recommendations based on customer needs and project requirements.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and promptly while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Proactively address and resolve customer complaints, maintaining professionalism and empathy to preserve customer relationships.
- Stay current with product knowledge and industry standards to better serve customer inquiries.
- Prepare detailed quotes and follow up with potential leads to secure new business opportunities.
- Provide exceptional service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business
Pricing and Promotion:
- Maintain and regularly update the customer master data in the ERP system to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure all pricing pages and promotional materials are current and aligned with the latest pricing strategies.
Competencies and Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/certificate in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, Customer Service or Inside Sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
Skills:
- Proven track record in lead generation and closing high-value deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to develop and follow a systematic process.
