Compensation:
- Tractor Mechanics: $38/hr (Journeyman/Person)
- Trailer Mechanics: $32/hr (Journeyman/Person)
Shift Options & Premiums:
- Tractor Shift: Noon to 10:30 p.m. ($3.00/hr shift premium)
- Trailer Shift: 3:00 p.m. to Midnight ($3.00/hr shift premium)
- Weekend Shift: Saturday (8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.), Sunday (12:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.) ($3.00/hr shift premium)
- Graveyard Shift: Midnight to 8:30 a.m. ($5.00/hr shift premium)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing
- Diagnose and repair electrical, air brake systems, tires, and bodywork
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance
- Weld and replace equipment as needed
- Assess equipment to determine if external repairs are required
- Report faults or malfunctions and coordinate with the maintenance team to prioritize repairs
Qualifications:
- Red Seal or Journeyman certification required
- High school diploma and relevant experience
- Basic set of hand tools
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge and experience with tools and diagnostic equipment
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance procedures
