Maintenance Mechanic – Evening Shift
A leading plastic packaging company in Canada is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for our evening shift. If you’re hands-on, mechanically skilled, and enjoy troubleshooting, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment (conveyors, pumps, grinders, etc.)
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
- Minimize downtime through effective problem-solving
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
- Maintain maintenance records and manage spare parts
- Follow safety procedures (LOTO) and company standards
- Work closely with Production and Process teams
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- 3–5 years of manufacturing experience
- Strong mechanical skills; electrical knowledge an asset
- Experience with pneumatics & hydraulics (required)
- TIG welding and plastics experience are assets
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
