Maintenance Technician

Location: Saskatchewan Dr NW Edmonton, AB

Security Clearance: Reliability-level security screening

OBJECTIVE: 
To deliver satisfactory assistance to the operational and maintenance team during the period while we are seeking a full time replacement due to a retirement 

BACKGROUND:
The skilled laborer in question should be able to assist with the day to day operations of the facility and aid the experienced operator when in need. The facility conducts daily inspections in which the acquired help 
will participate and be flexible in managing assigned tasks.

SCOPE OF WORK:
The candidate should be able to:
perform set ups and tear downs for events, assisting with shipping and receiving duties, grounds keeping, snow clearing, assist with carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and other associated duties of teammates while providing vacation relief.

TASKS: 

• Lighting inspections
• Changing bulbs
• Inventory of ballasts to be changed by licensed electrician
• Perform fire extinguisher inspections (once trained)
• Perform safety shower and eyewash station inspections (once trained)
• Help with moving and assembling furniture
• Assist with contractor supervision
• Preform daily plant machinery inspections and take accurate notes
