Staffmax is seeking a motivated, quality-driven, Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our client's team in Toronto (Don Mills Rd /Lawrence Ave). This is a Full Time 6 Months Contract position.
Term: 6 Months Contract position
Salary: $30.00 /hour
Hours: Days: 8 am-4 pm or 9 am to 5 Pm
Afternoon: 2pm-10pm or 3pm to 11pm
Evening: 10pm to 6am or 11pm to7am
Qualifications and key requirements:
- Perform diagnostic laboratory procedures and quality assurance procedures with excellent quality, excellent patient care, and within a reasonable time.
- Ensure all equipment, supplies, reagents, and techniques are standardized, calibrated and quality controlled to confirm accuracy, reliability, and precision for all tests performed
- Record, interpret, and/or approving test results
- Troubleshooting of clinical assays and equipment
- Ensure that all procedures are performed safely
- Participate in the Quality Management System and continuous quality improvement
- Maintain specimen testing integrity and efficient turn-around-times
- Maintain all regulatory and standards of performance and professional conduct
- Ensure quality services are provided in an efficient and timely manner
- Perform other lab-related technical duties as assigned by management.
