Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Work within the guidelines of the Ontario Electrical Code, Government Regulations, and Health & Safety Policies.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance operations.
- Thrive in a team environment and contribute to shared goals.
- Perform equipment repairs and ensure machinery runs smoothly.
- Lead by example with strong communication skills and work order prioritization during shutdowns.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and report any safety concerns to management.
- Complete tasks within budgetary guidelines while tracking machine availability and efficiency.
- Follow the company’s preventative maintenance program, ensuring all controls and safety measures are functional.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensed Industrial Millwright/Mechanic 433A.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical ability, both in theory and applied.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends, with a positive attitude and reliability.
- Able to handle manual labour, including lifting, bending, and reaching.
