We are searching for a Millwright Red Seal, Interprovincial or Journeyman /Journeywoman / Journeyperson with problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
Wage: hourly rate based on experience and abilities
Permanent full time
Location: Winnipeg
Responsibilities:
- Repair and service malfunctioning equipment and components both in facility and at client location
- Work on a broad range of equipment and machines, and components such as motors, pumps, valves, controls
- Handle installations and decommission/de-mantling of machinery and equipment according to company/equipment plans, blueprints, and other diagrams
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment breakdown, required servicing and preventative maintenance
- Hydraulics and welding an strong asset
Requirements:
- Red Seal Millwright
- Ability to problem solve on the job site
- Proficient with machinery: hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tool
- Clear Criminal record check - please discuss with recruiter as severity is dependant
Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm occasional weekends or out of town work
Car/truck to take home nightly
