Staffmax is looking for Certified Millwrights or Apprentices/ Helper for immediate full-time employment. This is a fulltime, temporary to permanent position with benefits after 3 months for successful candidates
Pay rate: $25- 45/hr(for expereinced candidate) +Benefits after 4 months
Shift: Mon-Fri
Location: Niagara Falls , ON
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns
- Repair or replace defective machine parts and equipment.
- Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
- Install, align, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to plan layouts
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
- Perform routine maintenance work on all machinery
Qualification
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship, an Ontario Certificate of Apprenticeship, and a Certificate of Qualification or equivalent is required
- Welding & fabrication experience will be an asset; Stainless steel, TIG.
- Must have a valid Drivers License and own vehicle
