Job Title: Auto Glass Technical Trainer
Salary: $65,000/year
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Auto Glass Technical Trainer to design, deliver, and manage training programs for auto glass technicians. This role is crucial in ensuring technicians are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed for high-quality repairs and replacements. The ideal candidate will develop training materials, lead hands-on sessions, and evaluate program effectiveness to maintain exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Training Program Development:
Design and update training manuals, modules, and other educational materials tailored to auto glass repair and replacement.

Training Delivery:
Lead in-person and virtual training sessions for new hires and existing technicians. Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical exercises to enhance skill development.

Health & Safety Compliance:
Promote and enforce strict adherence to all health and safety protocols during training and daily operations.

Technical Expertise:
Perform advanced auto glass repairs and replacements as part of training. Offer technical support and guidance on complex cases while staying informed about industry advancements.

Skill Assessment:
Assess technician skills through observation and testing. Deliver constructive feedback and additional training to maintain high performance standards.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay informed on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices. Incorporate advancements into training programs to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Travel Requirements:
Occasionally travel to other provinces to train technicians and support service operations as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:
Keep detailed records of training sessions, participant progress, and certifications. Generate reports to track outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in auto glass repair is preferred.
- Extensive experience in auto glass repair and replacement with advanced technical skills.
- Proven experience in training, mentoring, or teaching roles.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to create effective training materials and deliver engaging sessions.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Certification in auto glass repair and replacement.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
- Proficiency with training software and tools.
