Mobile DNA Collection Specialist
Location: McMurray and Mountain, BC
Job Type: Part-Time | Temporary
Pay Rate: $22/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 4 hours per day
Start Date: ASAP
Position Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Mobile DNA Collection Specialist to perform DNA sample collections and ensure specimens are properly handled and submitted at the end of each shift.
Responsibilities
- Perform DNA sample collections and swabbing procedures according to established protocols.
- Verify and confirm client identification and ensure all required information is accurate.
- Properly label, package, and secure collected samples for transportation.
- Maintain confidentiality and follow all required procedures when handling sensitive information and specimens.
- Drop off collected swabs at the designated post office at the end of each shift.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure samples are processed and transported on time.
- Provide professional and respectful service to clients throughout the collection process.
- Follow all health, safety, and company procedures.
Requirements
- CPR-C certification/training is preferred or required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel as required for mobile collections.
- Comfortable working independently and with a flexible daytime/early evening schedule.
- Previous healthcare, laboratory, specimen collection, customer service, or similar experience is an asset.
- Must be comfortable handling confidential client information.

- Monday to Friday
- Approximately 4 hours per day
- Shifts may vary between daytime and early evening
- $22/hour
- Temporary position; term length is currently unknown
