About the Opportunity
Staffmax Staffing & Recruiting is hiring experienced Mobile and Trailer Technicians for one of our leading clients in Lachine, Quebec.
We are looking for experienced technicians with strong trailer repair and maintenance skills who are interested in a stable, long-term opportunity with competitive compensation and excellent benefits.
Available Shifts
Day Shift
Monday to Friday
6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Afternoon/Night Shift
Monday to Thursday
2:30 PM – 1:00 AM
10-hour shifts
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial trailers.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform mobile and/or in-shop trailer repairs.
- Identify problems and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Complete repairs safely, efficiently, and according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of trailer repair/maintenance experience.
- No provincial license is required for Quebec.
- Previous mobile or in-shop technician experience is an asset.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to safety and quality.
- Bilingual English/French is highly preferred.
