Position Title: Commercial Loan Payment Processing Administrator
Location: Immediate, Full-Time Position Available

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Loan Payment Processing Administrator to join our client's team. This role involves managing all facets of commercial loan administration, including ensuring compliance with company policies, investor reporting, payment collection, property tax management, and monitoring annual compliance information. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of commercial loan administration, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and coordinate annual compliance information (e.g., realty tax receipts, financial statements, licensing paperwork, property inspections).
  • Oversee the collection, processing, and disbursement of all mortgage proceeds.
  • Maintain accurate data within the mortgage accounting system.
  • Invoice for floating rate and interest-only loans.
  • Manage pre-authorized payment setups, including template creation in the banking system, payment frequency, and reconciliation with the loan accounting system.
  • Handle monthly CMHC reporting.
  • Perform month-end and year-end processes.
  • Collect realty tax installments and ensure timely payments to the appropriate municipalities.
  • Provide responsive service to client inquiries, including those from investors and borrowers.
  • Prepare annual mortgage statements for borrowers and investors.
  • Manage default cases and reporting to lenders and CMHC.
  • Handle deposits, correspondence, courier services, and other assigned duties.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial mortgage administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong mathematical abilities.
  • Outstanding administrative and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A customer-focused approach with a dedication to delivering superior service.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to commercial real estate lending.
