Moving Event

Staffmax is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our client team in Ottawa, ON as a Moving Event Workers for an upcoming event on September 2, 2024. As a Moving Event Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting new residents with their move-in process and facilitating the smooth flow of traffic during the event.

Event Date: September 2nd,

Event Duration: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Location: Ottawa, ON

Key Responsibilities:

• Distributing Moving Trolleys: You will be responsible for distributing moving trolleys to new residents who are moving into their accommodations. This will involve collecting a piece of government photo ID from each resident and providing them with a trolley in exchange.

• Traffic Direction: Ensuring the efficient flow of traffic during the event by directing residents to designated areas and assisting them with any inquiries they may have.

• ID Management: Workers will be provided with a bag to carry residents' IDs securely and a clipboard to keep track of those who have rented a moving cart.

Requirements:

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor to provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive wage of $20.00 per hour for the duration of the event, and workers will also be provided with the necessary equipment and tools to carry out their duties efficiently.

Additional Opportunity:

In addition to the Moving Event Workers, we are also looking for two reliable individuals to assist with moving leftover belongings/furniture out of rooms. This presents a great opportunity for individuals seeking extra work over these specific days.
