Order Picker/Packer

Our client is seeking an order filler/warehouse associate with skills in logistics, shipping and receiving. You will perform various warehouse activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products while also filling orders. You will organize stock, maintain inventory, process, pack, and ship orders. Keen attention to detail is a must.

Hours: 8am - 5pm
Location: Ellice Ave and Wall St
Wage: $13.50

DUTIES INCLUDE

• Pick, package, and ship orders as per order slip
• Locate items in picking aisles alphabetically or numerically
• Look up and enter SKU numbers into computer
• Ensure all shipping information is accurate on labels prior to delivery driver pick up
• Ensure package contains all requested items - if an item is out of stock you must offer customer or client an alternative option, or provide ETA of initially requested item
• Use of an RF Scanner to locate items in warehouse bins
• Help to load and unload delivery trucks when necessary
• Help clean picking aisles clean for yourself and other warehouse staff

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid drivers license
• Clear criminal record check
• Proven work experience in warehouse setting
• Good working knowledge of warehouse software
• Solid communication and inventory skills
• Safety shoes required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
