Staffmax Staffing and Recruiting is assisting our client with the hiring of a top Building Products Sales Representative.
You are responsible for driving sales of the company's products within a specific territory. This role focuses on building strong relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying growth opportunities, and assisting in the implementation of sales strategies. Salary and Perks: -$70-90k plus bonuses - Full benefits and vacation - Education/Tuition allowance - RRSP - Cell, Laptop - Gas and accommodation are paid for when travelling Key Responsibilities: - Lead sales activities to maximize sales growth, margin targets, and market share - Develop and execute a sales growth plan for the branch, identifying new products, customers, and geographical areas for expansion - Build strong business relationships through face-to-face sales calls and relationship-building activities - Identify customer needs and motivations to tailor sales approaches - Implement sales growth strategies in line with the company's strategic plans - Collaborate with the Branch Manager on sales planning and strategy execution - Provide product knowledge and support to branch sales teams Key Accountabilities: - Develop and implement sales plans to achieve goals - Coordinate with branch sales teams and headquarters support staff to enhance sales resources - Conduct regular travel within the territory to meet with customers (50% travel) - Territory Winnipeg to Greater Vancouver - Represent the company at trade association meetings Required Education and Experience: - Associate degree or equivalent work experience - 2+ years of sales experience in Outdoor Building Products - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM software - Valid Driver's License Required Skills/Abilities: - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Exceptional customer service skills - Excellent sales and negotiation skills - Strong organizational and time management skills Travel: Up to 50% travel within the assigned territory, with occasional overnight trips Paid mileage and accommodation |
