Industrial Painter / Spray Gun Operator

Wage: $22.00–$24.00/hour, depending on experience

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Painter / Spray Gun Operator to join a busy window and door manufacturing facility in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience using a spray gun and be comfortable working in a production environment while maintaining high-quality finishing standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate spray guns to apply paint, coatings, and finishes to window and door components.

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and ensuring proper adhesion.

• Mix and prepare paints and coatings according to specifications.

• Maintain consistent paint coverage, colour, and finish quality.

• Inspect finished products for runs, drips, uneven coverage, and other defects.

• Make adjustments to spray equipment to achieve the required finish.

• Clean and maintain spray guns, equipment, and work areas.

• Follow all workplace safety procedures and proper handling practices for paints and coatings.

• Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards.

• Work effectively as part of a manufacturing/production team.

• Perform other general production duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating a spray gun is required.

• Industrial, manufacturing, automotive, cabinet, window, or door painting experience is an asset.

• Good understanding of paint preparation and application techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks.

• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
