Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Start Date: Monday, August 17, 2026
Duration: 3–4 weeks (temporary assignment)
Wage: $24.00/hour

Position Overview

Staffmax is currently hiring a Temporary Installation Assistant to support a refrigeration panel installation project. This is a physically active role that involves assisting with the installation of commercial refrigeration panels and general labour duties on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installing refrigeration and walk-in cooler panels
• Lift, carry, and position panels and materials
• Support the lead installer with daily installation tasks
• Use basic hand tools as required
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work
• Experience with construction, installation, or general labour is an asset
• Comfortable lifting and carrying materials throughout the day
• Steel-toed work boots are required
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
