Payment Processing and Customer Service Clerk

Staffmax is assisting our Winnipeg client with the hire of a temporary Customer Service Clerk to assist with the busy season in their Payment Processing department. This full-time job pays at $17 per hour, and can be performed as a hybrid home-and-office position. You must be comfortable delivering customer service over the phone while finding and delivering information from a computer screen.

The successful candidate will leverage their experience and skills to deliver superior remote customer service and product knowledge to the company's clients, as well as processing payments, reconciliations, and repayment allocations- all while working closely with a team.

Your Duties Will Include:

• Contacting clients and service providers via phone and email to transact business and build customer relationships by delivering superior service
• Reviewing requirements, regulations and rules of the company's advance-payment program with your clients to further their understanding
• Processing client payments, reconciliations, interest calculations, bank transactions, repayments, and other miscellaneous transactions
• Reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy
• Working with your team members and leaders to secure solutions for the client
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• You must have experience delivering a high level of customer service, preferably in a remote or call-centre environment
• You must be comfortable working within tight deadlines and making quick calculations in real time.
• You must be comfortable working in a team environment, as this is a very collaborative position
• You must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
