Reporting to the Manager of Payroll and Benefits, the Payroll Administrator will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and processing of employee payrolls across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
•    Ensuring employee payrolls are processed in an accurate and timely manner adhering to policies and procedures as well as relevant regulations and legislations. 
•    Reviewing timecard entries and ensuring that they follow applicable ESA, with regard to stat holiday calculations, shift premium rules, and overtime calculations per jurisdiction.
•    Processing and submitting payroll related reports, including Journal entries, and Business Payroll surveys.
•    Updating and maintaining accurate employee documents in IQ Workforce.
•    Staying current on industry trends and regulatory changes that impact payroll administration and applying these changes to enhance operational excellence when necessary.
•    Supporting HRBPs and other parties with payroll related duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Payroll Administration, or equivalent.
•    Minimum 5 years of payroll experience in a multi-jurisdictional environment.
•    Knowledge of Employment Standards Legislation.
•    Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
•    Comfortable using office equipment, Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint), and HRIS & Payroll software (ADP Workforce Now or similar).

Preferred Qualifications

Completion of Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certificate is preferred.
•    Experience with Benefits administration is considered an asset.
