We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our client's on a 2-month contract to cover a leave. They are a non-profit organization here in Winnipeg that has been supporting people with disabilities for the last 25 years. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, with a strong preference for familiarity in handling employee pensions and benefits.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Wage: $25.00 - $28.50, based on experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 2 months (covering a leave)
  • Start Date: February 1

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Manage payroll-related records, including timesheets, deductions, and tax filings.
  • Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, pensions, and benefits.
  • Assist with the administration of employee pensions and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing is required.
  • Experience with IBEX is required.
  • Familiarity with employee pensions and benefits administration is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills for addressing employee concerns.
