Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Clerk to join our client's on a 2-month contract to cover a leave. They are a non-profit organization here in Winnipeg that has been supporting people with disabilities for the last 25 years.
The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll processing, with a strong preference for familiarity in handling employee pensions and benefits.
Compensation:
- Hourly Wage: $25.00 - $28.50, based on experience.
Work Schedule:
- Days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Contract Details:
- Duration: 2 months (covering a leave)
- Start Date: February 1
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
- Manage payroll-related records, including timesheets, deductions, and tax filings.
- Handle employee inquiries related to payroll, pensions, and benefits.
- Assist with the administration of employee pensions and benefits programs.
- Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in payroll processing is required.
- Experience with IBEX is required.
- Familiarity with employee pensions and benefits administration is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills for addressing employee concerns.
