Salary: $45,000–$53,000 per year

Overview:
Staffmax is hiring a Payroll Coordinator for a well-established long-haul and moving company. We are looking for someone with strong payroll experience, excellent communication skills, and high attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for salaried, hourly, and Owner-Operator drivers
- Use EasyPay and Excel to complete accurate and timely payroll
- Work with an ERP system for trucking payroll, miles, and fuel deductions
- Complete payroll taxes, deductions, and wage reporting
- Assist with onboarding and payroll paperwork
- Support invoicing and send client statements as needed
- Perform light Accounts Receivable tasks during slower periods
- Work with HR on payroll-related matters (asset)
Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience required
- Experience with EasyPay and strong Excel skills
- Accounts Receivable experience required
- ERP/trucking payroll experience is an asset
- Strong English communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Vehicle preferred due to location
- Clean Criminal record check done by Staffmax
Work Schedule & Benefits:
- Monday–Friday
- Hours: 7:30–3:30 (preferred), 8–4, or 8:30–5
